Choose the Right Frame

Choosing a frame can be difficult!  Follow these tips to ensure you choose the right frame.

1. Do you currently wear glasses?

If YES, find your EYESIZE.

Look inside the frame and find the numbers on the arm or nosepiece.

There should be two or three numbers.

You are looking for the first number (example above is 50) which will be between 42 to 61.

*This number is your "Eyesize"

Adults are usually 50-61

Children are usually 42-50

I recommend using this to "Filter" the frame selection and see all the frames that come in that size.

If your current frame is too large or too small, size up or down accordingly.

Bigger Number = Larger Frame

Smaller Number = Smaller Frame

If your current eyesize is 54, is would be acceptable to browse 53, 54, and 55 eyesizes.

Glasses broken or lost?

Email / Message me and I will tell you the previous sizes you've chosen.

If you do not wear glasses currently and don't know your eyesize, I would recommend waiting to try on a pair of glasses in person. Head and face sizes differ and I want to make sure you are comfortable and happy with your glasses.

2. Plastic or Metal?

Next, I would advise to choose whether you would like a metal frame or plastic frame

Metal frames have the silicone adjustable nosepads.

Plastic frames have built-in plastic nosepads that are not adjustable.

Silicone Nosepads (adjustable)         Plastic Nosepads (not adjustable)

3. Colour and Shape

Next, choose the frame colour and shape.

*Note, if you have a higher prescription, choose a smaller and rectangular frame.
